Super M.O.P. means replacing the daily large volume enema with either a Foley catheter or the Peristeen pump.
A Foley catheter is a tube with a balloon at the end. The balloon creates a “seal”, so the irrigation fluid does not leak back out, allowing you to fill the colon more fully.
An even more powerful option is the Peristeen® anal irrigation system by Coloplast, basically a large-volume enema on steroids.
If you are really getting nowhere with Super M.O.P., you may want to see a paediatric motility specialist, a sub-specialist in paediatric GI disorders, who can assess whether a part of your child’s colon has lost function.
